EXPEDITION BENIN 2009
Colours of Benin
In close cooporation between the DAGOE Foundation, Mercy Ships and
3 Dutch radio amateurs a DX-pedition to Benin took place. They visited Benin from October 7th untill October 30st. The team
was on
air from October 10th-27th from the village Grand Popo (JJ06VG) and
also participated in the CQWW
SSB 2009. The team set the following goals and will be able to reach these
goals with help of the radio amateur community worldwide:
- Activate the DXCC-entity Benin on the HF bands
- Providing onsite help to the Mercy Ships Charity Project
- Raising funds for the Mercy Ships Charity Project
All donations and surplus from the QSL will be transferred to the Mercy Ships Charity Project.
